Alla bändin oma tiedote lontooksi: Exit Kellokoski, enter Tarvainen Some weeks ago our drummer Reima Kellokoski informed us that he was not able to continue in our band, as he felt he could not in the future give the 100% commitment needed. As 2010 will be an anniversary year for Impaled Nazarene, his allegiances of course lie with his band of 15 years. As both bands will tour actively and will not settle for compromises, both SZ and Reima felt this was the best decision and this departure is not in hostile terms in any way. We will of course miss playing and partying together, but life moves ahead. We thank Reima for the great times in the studio and on the road. You may leave the band but never the brotherhood. Best of luck in the future, brother. SZ continues to keep it in the family, as we did not have to look for a drummer very far. Our new skinpounder is none other than our good friend Seppo Tarvainen (Tukkanuotta, ex-Scourger), who took on the challenge and took the drumseat (and stage) by storm. Tosin tämä vastoinkäyminen vain vahvistaa Gorepon nuottikynää, joten peljätkö älköön kukaan! Goreppo palaa vielä! (Helvetin tulessa) Tukkanuotta on nyt myös ansaitulla keikkatauolla, sillä menneen kesän yhteensä 4 soitettua showta vei miehistä mehut ja nyt on päällä intensiivinen kirjoitusvaihe. Tässä nämä. -- First of all Goreppo broke his thumb on Monday which will put his riffage and battery on hold for awhile. But fear not, Goreppo will be back faster and stronger before you know it. For the record, alcohol was not involved in the accident. We took some time off after the hectic summer (4 shows) and are now in pre-production for the follow-up for our Ulti-platinum selling Viimeinen Nistiretki-Ep. We don't really know what pre-production means but it sounds fancy as fuck. We suppose it has something to do with getting the songs ready for recording. Whatever it is, it seems pretty easy since we have our songs completely ready, so we mainly just drink beer. The plan is to enter the studio in November / December with Black-Metal Zymo but nothing is set in stone, though. But a few things are when it comes to Tukkanuotta. We're planning on a spring release and yes, it's going to be another EP. We also have plans for another release but what and when, more about that later. We will not be playing shows for a bit now since we really want to focus on this pre-production thing. And Goreppo has a broken thumb.
